Fifa Drops Charges Against Dutch Girls

Fifa dropped the criminal charges it laid against two attractive Dutch Ladies for wearing orange mini dresses at a Fifa 2010 World Cup match. Fifa pressed charges against the Dutch Ladies for "ambush marketing".
But today the criminal charges were withdrawn against Barbara Castelein and Mirthe Nieuwpoort. Their passports were returned and they were greeted by supporters when they left the Johannesburg Magistrates Court.
The girls only crime was being two of 36 sexy women wearing orange mini dresses with a tiny Bavaria label at the match between Holland and Denmark last week. If the girls were not arrested no body would have even known about the apparent ambush marketing stunt. Now however the girls are now infamous and Baveria has enjoyed world wide publicity at these girls expense.

Castelein, 29, and 30-year-old Nieuwpoort were arrested, ordered to surrender their passports and forced to post bail or face immediate imprisonment for wearing orange mini skirts!

The world was outraged at the arrest of the girls!

Dutch Woman dressed in Orange Arrested at Fifa 2010 World Cup SA

These good looking Dutch Woman wore orange dresses to the Fifa World Cup game in South Africa were arrested at half time and appeared in a South African Court. Fifa dropped charges against the South African woman wearing the same orange dresses and proceeded with criminal charges against Mirte Nieuwpoort and Barbara Castelein. The woman were released on bail of R10 000 each and their passports have been taken from them. Who would think that wearing orange to a football match could land you up in a South African Jail. South African Jails are amongst the worst in the world and could end up costing one's life. An international outcry and a diplomatic row was beginning to simmer between the Netherlands and South Africa.

It is totally outrageous that these pretty girls have gone through all this just for wearing orange dresses. Dutch Foreign Minister Maxime Verhagen has spoken to the South African ambassador in The Hague, Peter Goosen. "He indicated to the ambassador that the charges and the arrest of these two woman were disproportionate and not correct."

What do you think about this?
