Koman Coulibaly, the referee who denied USA's 3rd Goal between USA and SloveniaThe Referee blew the whistle a spit second before USA scored a goal which would have made them the winners scoring 3 goals to Slovenia 2. The reason for the referee blowing the whistle before the goal is unclear to me. Does any one know why the whistle was blown and the goal denied? USA clearly deserved to win, however drew against Slovenia 2-2.
The referee in the game played between United States and Slovenia is Koman Coulibaly (thanks to the comments below is an Angolan) who is not a first class referee and refused to give the reason for denying the goal that would have placed USA in victory. A tragic day for Fifa World Cup football and another unfair call by a Fifa Referee.
